Starting a business during the coronavirus pandemic

Without any doubt, 2020 will always be remembered as a year filled with many disruptive regulations and impositions.  The widespread of the coronavirus pandemic, which emerged late into 2019, became a major threat to different economies. Up to this moment, we do not know how long this virus will ravage the world, and the definite time all government-imposed restrictions will be completely erased.

Apart from the serious complications of the coronavirus infection on people's health, COVID-19 (coronavirus) is also significantly impacting businesses. Millions have been thrown out of their jobs, and unemployment statistics keep rising every day. For some, they received a pay cut due to reduced output and sales. This is a time to starting thinking outside the box and get creative with many ways to make money. Many people are advocating for online businesses, which is great. This period does not in any way look like a viable time for physical businesses. However, history shows some of the most successful companies have been started during times of economic downturn. Examples of these businesses include IBM, Disney, HP, FedEx, and so on.

In this article, I'll highlight some businesses that you can start during this coronavirus pandemic. There are still numerous conventional businesses that are booming during the ongoing pandemic.

Pet products

Lockdown has made a lot of people have more time with their pets. The pets offer companionship during the numerous hours they are locked in. Many more pets have been adopted during this period, thereby skyrocketing the demand for pet products. Some of the product in demand are dog harness (as many owners prefer using a harness when taking walks with their pet), personalized collars, pet foods, cat litter mat, Hamster cage, dental care toys, toiletries and treats, Multifunction Biting Toy, Novelty pet bed, and so on.

Beauty products and training services

Home beauty products have now been high on demand as more consumers now have more time and also getting convenient with performing their skincare and haircare routine. The sales of home beauty products and alternatives have skyrocketed, and this is a trend that will impact the beauty industry permanently.

Some of them in high demands include Shampoo, and conditioner Hair and scalp treatment, Clippers, Hair colour Spray, lipsticks, Hair straighteners,  Face cleanser, anti-aging, Moisturizers, Exfoliators and scrubs, Acne control, and blemish, etc

 Companies providing online training and skincare services, in addition to the beauty product sales, will thrive well too.

Gardening and livestock

Empty groceries store and springtime have driven many people into gardening and livestock rearing. Businesses that sell gardening and livestock production tools are doing great too. Also, the demand for materials and training supporting them are high in demand.

Health and fitness.

Lockdown has given more time for people who have a desire to lose weight and get fit to do so. Numerous educational content on how to lose weight in lockdown and other similar material is gaining widespread attention. Searches for 'weight loss' have steadily increased. The more time we spent in quarantine, the more fitness and health apps are being downloaded throughout the world.
